3D Nano Korean Eyebrow Embroidery with The Prestige
If you noticed a slight change in my looks these few weeks and don't know what I did to my face..
Yup! I had Eyebrow Embroidery for the first time 3 weeks back with The Prestige Eyebrow & Lash Specialist located at Pacific Plaza #03-08 :)
A little background on the Prestige -
When I was younger in my secondary school days, I visited the nearby beauty shop to have my eyebrows trimmed at $5. And guess what, the China lady succeeded in making me look like a complete lian and all with super thin brows.
Then during my poly days, I would go for threading at Little India which was exceptionally painful.
I have never tried any eyebrow embroidery all my life and to be honest, I was a little skeptical going for it because I know that it's going to last for quite some time and I've heard all sorts of awful eyebrow embroidery stories that went wrong and would never want that to happen to me.
But still I decided to take a leap of faith..
The Prestige, Pacific Plaza, Level 03-08
When I first arrived at the doorstep of The Prestige, I was in complete awe because it was so lavishly designed.
The curtains and chairs were of velvet red and shiny gold which made the entire shop feel super atas. The owners of The Prestige have such good taste in furnishing the place.
As my appointment with The Prestige drew closer, I was feeling both excited and freaking out at the same time.
The people around me would know my tolerance for pain is really low!
But can you believe what a great job The Prestige did by reducing the pain to zero?
It was such a relaxing 55mins process.
Step 1 (15mins) - Embroidery Analysis
They started with removing my makeup around my eyebrows then a photo will be taken to analyse and explain to you what should be done to enhance your face shape and features from having a fuller set of eyebrows.
Step 2 (10mins) - Eyebrow Embriodery Design & Shaping
They would then draw two different eyebrow designs, one on your left and one on your right eyebrow. You can then choose which design and shape you prefer.
Not sure if you can see the difference here but the one on the left has more of the arc with the 'tail' at the back while the right one was more subtle.
I had a hard time deciding which side I should go for, the more defined eyebrow or a more natural look so I went around the parlour asking for opinions. Haha
Thankfully the ladies there were all very helpful and patient, they felt that I looked rather fierce with the arc, which was what I didn't want to portray.
Step 3 (15mins) - Numbing Process
Crystal healing gel will be applied onto your eyebrows.
You would need to wait for 15 minutes, so that the treatment would not hurt.
My poor mommy did her eyebrow embroidery at Bishan and told me hers hurt so bad with every 'poke' on the skin but the people there refused to add more numbing cream for her. *angry*
After 15mins... I was brought into a comfy bed to lie on while they did their thang!
Step 4 (15mins) - Eyebrow Embroidery Colouring Treatment
The Prestige uses an eyebrow embroidery instrument to design hair-like strokes on the top layer of your skin.
Next, they would apply colour pigment onto your skin for absorption.
As a result you will have a pair of thicker and fuller natural looking eyebrows.

Pardon my face here, I was trying to maintain emotionless so that I won't move my brows!

Initially I was still expecting some serious redness and swelling around the eyebrows, but there were none :)
I'm impressed with how they made my eyebrows look so natural with the hair-like strokes.
Really satisfied with the results and painless 55mins process!

So happy I no longer have to head to gym looking all weak and tired especially when I don't draw my eyebrows.
You know how some girls have no confidence when they don't have their makeup on?
I'm definitely one of them.
I can now exercise with no concern on how I would look ;)
So glad I made this decision of visiting The Prestige!
Here's how my eyebrows look after 3 weeks.
I filled the unevenness with eyebrow power due to the peeling off of colour pigmentation.
Not to worry, it's a normal process!
I was told that when the colour pigmentation comes off, we need to let it peel off naturally instead of using our hands.
A touch up treatment to achieve the desired eyebrow shape and colour is required.
Can't wait for my next appointment with them :)
