Embrace. My worst outbreak ever 2 years back. 

 It definitely took a lot of courage to post this pic up but yup this was my skin condition during my first visit to The DRx Clinic 2 years ago.

I've set memories of that bad past to rest and I almost couldn't remember how unhealthy my skin was until Dr David flipped through my records and I knew I had to show you guys how The DRx Clinic saved my complexion. 

 My skin started breaking out with all the huge pimples below my cheeks on both sides of my face ever since I started travelling to GZ for work. 

It was so depressing as there were visible bumps all over and even makeup couldn't conceal them. 

And when my guy friend asked bluntly 'What happened to your face man?', I realized I had to seek help.

I'm so glad I decided to seek treatment professionally because I cannot imagine how bad the condition of my whole face would have been if I did not visit The DRx Clinic. 

Thank god there wasn't any scarring. 

Took this pic this morning on my way to work with only sunblock, loose powder, eyebrow powder, blusher applied on my face! (same angle somemore haha) 

So glad that I was recommended to The DRx Clinic 2 years ago and how it gave me better skin. 

I wouldn't say I have really awesome complexion right now but at least it's much healthier than before and the pimples are all cleared up without visible scarring. 

So now let's take a look into the white and spacious interior of The DRx Clinic,

 It's usually very crowded so I'm lucky to be able to capture a clean shot that day!

It is advisable to make an appointment in case it's fully housed that day. 

So basically the steps are:

1)  Registration

2) Doctor examination 

3) Consultant brings you to a cubicle room to explain the steps of application of products 

4) Enters another room to take photos of skin 

5) Collect products and make payment 

The products that were given to me after analyzing my skin condition by Dr David:

 L-R: Foaming Cleanser, Toner, CF, MAX-C, VIT-A Gel, Hydrator, ABM, Tinted Sunblock

These are the 5 products that I love to bits

 I've been a paying customer for the past 2 years and have used countless bottles of Derma-Rx products. 

Though it's slightly costly in my personal opinion, but we just want the best for our skin isn't it? :)

I can go for cheaper make-up goods but I certainly cannot compromise the quality of my skincare products. 

First up, the Foaming Cleanser suitable for all skin types which is pretty gentle and hydrates well.
It does not make my skin tight like some other cleansers which I was using previously.

Then the alcohol free Toner which doesn't stink yet able to restore moisture on my skin. 

In the past, I have been changing my cleanser and toner very often, seeking the best ones that works well for me.
However ever since I started on Derma-Rx I stopped, because I found mine. (haha cheesy much) 

Comedone Formula aka CF - A natural formulation containing botanical extracts which reduces the appearance of comedones(blackheads & whiteheads) and blemishes. 

MAX-C - A potent anti-oxidant formula based on the highest possible stable concentration of Vitamin C. It counteracts free radicals, encourages collagen and elastin production to control the adverse effects of photo-damage, including wriggling, sagging and other symptoms of premature skin aging. 

MAX-C and CF are the best selling products in The DRx Clinic and also the most expensive ones. 

CF is used to clear up your clogged pores by melting your black+white heads away which certainly reduced mine especially those on my nose :D

While MAX-C contains the maximum amount of vitamin C that evens out my skin and reduces my blemishes. 

The texture is slightly stickier than the rest of the products but absorbs fast so no worries about having sticky skin after being applied! 

 I believe this is the product that whitened my face the fastest, as my family often comment how my face is fairer than my body! 

Derma-Rx Tinted Sunscreen is one product I cannot live without.

It's often out of stock at The DRx Clinic so I usually go for the non-tinted one when this is not available.

I even stocked one in Sean's place so that I can apply in the morning whenever I stay over, damn kiasu haha

If I were to pick only one product that I can apply to my face, I would say it's this sunscreen. 

Not my concealer nor eyeliner but this as it helps to make my dull skin appear more glowy! 

 Notice the instant brightness after I apply the sunscreen? 

This tinted sunscreen is best for girls like me, who apply makeup almost everyday. 

It might be kinda sticky to some so simply apply loose powder over to make it a little more matt! 

Every woman shouldn't neglect the importance of a good sunscreen because it would be too late when little dark spots start appearing on your cheeks as you age. 

The 3 new products that was recommended by Dr David after I mentioned to him about the dullness and pimple marks on my face.

I hate how my fingers are so itchy, whenever there is a pimple I cannot help but to squeeze it. 

It's so annoying how I can't seem to kick of this bad habit of mine.

Anti-Blemish Mask, Vit-A Gel, Hydrator 

 Vit-A Gel stimulates and increases cell-turnover and also reduces appearance of fine lines and uneven skin textures. 

Hydrator is a light moisturizing formula that moisturizes, conditions and nourishes the skin to keep it supple, firm and smooth, while protecting collagen from being broken down. 

Anti-Blemish Mask aka ABM - An intensive corrective mask for oily, congested and blemish-prone skin. It removes-excess oil, exfoliates, cleanses pores, clears comedones and helps to control further break-outs and blemishes. This formulation also contains ingredients that soothes and calms the skin and may be used as spot treatment for break-outs.

It's my third week welcoming these 3 new products into my skincare regime. 

I use the ABM 1-2 times a week in the night, leaving it on for an hour before washing it off. 

Hopefully after applying the mask diligently every week, it will control and prevent anymore break-outs. 

These are the steps I follow daily written by a pretty consultant named Livia. 

I actually stick it on the wall in my toilet so I don't mix up the steps. 

 Everyday when I reach home, I look forward to washing my face, removing the makeup and loading on all these Derma-Rx goodness on my skin :) 

I asked Livia if it is necessary to wait for the products to dry up before applying the next one and she said there's no need as these products are very light.  

Though the steps can be a little tedious, it takes not more than 5mins after you get familiarize with it.  

Putting on makeup is definitely easier with smoother skin! 

It is advised to seek treatment early so as to improve your skin condition sooner.

But it's also never too late, so do make an appointment with Dr David to achieve a better complexion today :)
