Say My Name

Visited Au Chocolat for the first time during the weekends because we heard so much about their brunch menu especially their truffle fries.  And guess what, it wasn't available that day due to some quality issues with the fries, they had to send it back to their supplier :(  But well.. We were quite lucky to be able to get sofa seats despite being full house that afternoon!  #staypositive  It's so hard to drag this sleepyhead awake on weekends. His theory of Saturdays is to sleep in till like 3-4pm? I really dont get it..  While they are ever ready for brunch with their 'will travel for food' mindset!  Sean ordered this frozen hot chocolate, $12 which was as yummy as it seemed! Would be better to share it cos I had only a few sips and was very full from it.  Super fattening especially with the thick layer of whipped cream on top but I'll still order it the next time I visit them for truffle fries :D  ...

So on Thursday, Ree and I headed to town for some xmas shopping cos we wanted to avoid the insane crowd during the weekends. But who knew, it was already damn crowded on a weekday. Tea time at Paul! Plenty of tarts and cakes to choose from, spot the giant macarons! Very pretty place but the sitting area was a tad too cramped, i could totally hear the whole conversation of the 2 girls beside! Fixed our hair earlier at the salon recommended by Ree's friend.  Still trying to get used to this colour, definitely the brightest I've gone so far!   As usual, she went for red!   Will prolly visit Paul again for their mains!  In Evra cut out dress, Decided to go without the sequined collar and matched it with my glitter flats:)  Then was dinner at The Cajun Kings  Was told that there will be no cutlery given, which means we are to eat with our hands.  All they provided was a plastic bib, a wooden...

Back with another long picture post after a weeks hiatus!  The past week has been really hectic for us, a productive one I would say.  (we are ready for the peak shopping period!)  But of cos no matter how busy we are, we still took time off work for brunch and good food!  That's our fav thing to do on weekends :)  So this week, Lu made reservations @The Merry Men A pretty place to unwind with the fav people! The truffle fries is da bomb, a must-order when youre there!   Egg Royale at $12  Which I thought was pretty reasonable, they were very generous with the salmon!
