Pardon my 2 weeks hiatus~ I'm back! The past 3 weeks of cafe hopping was pretty much a failure.  Is it just me or is there no standard around the new brunch places. The food were all hits and misses. There was this particular cafe which Ree made me travel all the way down to the west for, only to be served with fully cooked eggs for my eggs benny. It was so awful but I didn't bother to feedback because I know I wont be going back for more.  I hardly ask Sean to head out for brunch with me anymore cause I always feel very bad whenever I bring him to 'lousy' cafes. He ended up going for the usual Mcds/chicken rice after. But today, he offered :D  This pretty much sums up our relationship haha Wearing Sheila Lace Insert Pin-tuck dress made of neoprene material!  Wearing size S for this design but it's kinda snug for me with no allowance. I've been trying to lose the 2kg gained during the previous vacation but despite skipping all the su...

Catching up with the supermodel

Image
So our supermodel finally came back from her placement in Japan! If you actually remembered, Sherena modeled for us for months before she started her career. Hearing all her updates on the various jobs around the world, living in different countries for months, blending into their culture seemed really interesting. I have to say, it's not easy being a model, a real model I mean, not 'blogshop model' hahaha   But we are really proud and happy at how well Sherena is doing :)  And we decided to bring her to one of our favourite brunch place because food at Cafe Melba never disappoints! It's a tad pricey compared to the rest but their truffle fries is irresistible we had to order 2 buckets of it. Hmm.. $14 for a bucket, what say you?  Wearing Penelope Colourblock top with my current fav bag! First of all I really love bags that has an additional scarf detail which can make it look more designer-ish! Secondly the size is just nice for my...

Stateland @ Bali Lane

Image
So 2 weeks back the girlfriends and I headed to Stateland for brunch.  Not sure how true it is but I was told that this cafe is owned by 3 young friends who met in army and decided to start their business after serving the nation.  Entrepreneurship at its best. It's nice how we have an uprising number of such cafes in Sg:)  They don't do reservations so we had to wait awhile before we could get a table for 5.  It's a pretty small place and the seatings are really limited so it's not advised to visit them in a big group imo! I could actually count the number of tables inside with my fingers.  Not complaining, just had to emphasize how small the place is!  Btw, do you all have that one friend who always refrain you from ordering too much food?  Cause I'm actually the one whenever I'm out with my Monsterz/family! I wonder if there are people like me, annoying much haha  Eggs benny $14.90 was good but n...

Saint Pierre @ Quayside Isle

Helloooooooo :) This post has been in my drafts since last week but I was just too lazy to get the entry completed. Wish I can be a little more disciplined sometimes.. So on Vday, Sean brought me to somewhere away from the hustle and bustle.. Initially we got a stranger to help us with a shot but we turned out looking like midgets so we had to resort to self timer. Doesn't look too bad right! The Claude Embellished dress which my Monsterz all got a piece each!  We were saying to all wear it to Lkf during our Hk trip next month lol Arrived at Saint Pierre!  Had a hard time locating the place cos it was situated at some corner facing W hotel.  They had 2 dinner seatings and we chose the earlier slot, 530-830pm~  A polaroid shot for keepsake by the very sweet people at Saint Pierre:)  Dont know if it was Vday or what but for the first time Sean praised my makeup skills!! While waiting for the courses, Sean h...
